THE POWER OF THE SUBCONSCIOUS

WHAT IS YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND?

It is certainly not your brain!

Does your subconscious mind remember everything?

YES. Your subconscious will not forget anything. It is alert every time. The Subconscious is a store of everything; it has the powers the conscious minds lacks and stores what the conscious mind doesn’t want on a daily basis.

Why is the subconscious mind so powerful?

The subconscious mind is the powerful secondary system that runs everything in your life. Learning how to stimulate the communication between the conscious, subconscious and the superconscious. The subconscious mind is a powerful tool for success, happiness and riches.

The subconscious mind is very powerful, it can easily override conscious intentions and force you into certain paths. In the case of motivation for example you might consistently try to push yourself to something only to find yourself lacking energy and interest

From The Game of Life and How to Play It by Florence – some interesting points on the subconscious

ALL POWERS IS GIVEN MAN (through right thinking) to bring his heaven upon his earth and THIS IS THE GOAL of the “GAME OF LIFE”.

The object of the Game of Life is to see clearly one’s good and to obliterate all mental pictures of evil. This must be done by impressing the subconscious mind with a realization of good. The subconscious mind is man’s faithful servant but one must be careful to give it the right orders. You have ever a silent listener at your side – your subconscious mind.

Every thought, every word is impressed upon it and carried out in amazing detail. It is like a singer making a record on the sensitive disc of the phonographic plate. Every note and tone on the singer’s voice is registered. If she coughs or hesitates, it is registered also. So let us break all the old bad records in our subconscious mind, the records of our lives which we do not wish to keep, and make a new and beautiful one.

Speak these words aloud, with power and convictions “I now smash and demolish (by my spoken word) every untrue record in my subsconscious mind. They shall return to the dust heap of their native nothingness, from where they came from my own vain imaginings. I now make my perfect records through the Christ within – The records of Heath, Wealth, Love and perfect self-expression”. This is the square of life, The Game completed.

She writes “Most people consider life a battle, but it is not a battle, it is a game. It is a game, however, which cannot be played successfully without the knowledge of SPIRITUAL LAW.

Rule #1 “Whatever a manth soweth that shall he also reap”.

Rule #2 The imaging faculty is a leading part in the game of life.

Rule #3 To train the imagination successfully, man must understand the workings of his mind. Aristotle says “Know Thyself”.

Rule #4 There are 3 departments of the mind, the subconscious, conscious and superconscious.

The subconscious is simply power, and it does what it is directed to do. Whatever man feels deeply or images clearly, is impressed upon the subconscious mind, and carried out in the minutest detail.

The conscious mind has been called mortal or carnal mind. It is this conscious human mind that sees life as it appears to be. It sees death, disaster, sickness, poverty and limitation of every kind and it impresses the subconscious.

The SUPERCONSCIOUS MIND, is the God Mind within each man and it is the realm of perfect ideas. In it is the Divine Design for each person. “There is a place you are to fill and no one else can fill, something you are to do, which no one else can do”. There is a perfect picture of this in the superconscious mind. It usually flashes across the conscious as an unattainable ideal – “something too good to be true”.

In reality it is man’s true destiny (or destination) flashed to her from Infinite Intelligence which is within himself. Many people, however, are in ignorance of their true identities and are striving for situations, for things and situations which do not belong to them and would only bring failure and dissatisfaction if attained.

Rule #5 Many people have bought disaster in their lives through idle words – even things said “in fun” to the subconscious mind makes no difference. The subconscious, being simply power without direction, carries out orders without direction. Every desire, uttered or unexpressed, is a demand. Nothing stands between a woman and her highest ideals except doubt and fear

Rule #6 A woman’s only enemy is fear of lack, fear of failure, fear of sickness, fear of loss and a feeling of insecurity on some

plane. We must substitute fear with faith, for fear is only inverted faith, it is faith in evil instead of good.

“Extract From an article by George J. Ziogas of Medium.com”

“The subconscious mind is the powerful secondary system that runs almost everything (95% some say!) in your life. Your subconscious mind has immense power in controlling your life experiences — from the types of food you eat to the actions you take each day, the level of income you earn, and even how you react to stressful situations.

Every bit of it is guided by your subconscious beliefs and interpretations.

In short, your subconscious mind is like the auto-pilot feature on an airplane. It has been pre-programmed to follow a specific route and you can’t deviate from that route unless you change the directions programmed into it first.

The “subconscious” is the part of your mind that operates below your normal level of waking consciousness.

Right now you’re primarily using your conscious mind to read these words and absorb their meaning, but beneath that mental focus, your subconscious mind is busily working behind the scenes, absorbing or rejecting information based on an existing perception you have of the world around you.

This existing perception began forming when you were an infant.

With every experience, your subconscious mind soaks in information like a sponge.

It rejected nothing while you were young because you didn’t have any pre-existing beliefs to contradict what it perceived. It simply accepted that all of the information you received during your early childhood was true.

You can probably see why this becomes a problem later in life. Every time someone called you stupid, worthless, slow, lazy, or worse, your subconscious mind just stored the information away for reference.

You may also have received messages about your potential in life or limitations you’ll face based on your physical abilities, skin colour, gender, or economic status.

By the time you were 7 or 8 years old, you already had a solid foundation of belief based on all that programming from people in your life, television shows you watched, and other environmental influences.

Now that you’re an adult, you may think that you can simply discard the hurtful or untrue messages you absorbed during your early life, but it’s not quite that simple.

Remember that all of this information is stored below your level of conscious awareness. The only time you become aware of it is when it limits your progress in creating a balanced, successful and productive life.

Have you ever tried to achieve a goal and kept sabotaging yourself at every turn? Maddening, isn’t it? It’s important to know that you’re not defective or doomed to fail no matter what you do.

More likely you’ve got some old programmed messages that conflict with the new conditions you want to create.

This is excellent news because it means, you can achieve just about anything if you first take the time to reprogram your subconscious mind!”

From Napoleon Hill – Think and Grow Rich

“The Subconscious mind (the chemical laboratory in which all thought impulses are combined, and made ready for translation into physical reality) makes no distinction between constructive and destructive thought impulses.

It works with the material we feed it, through our thought impulses. The subconscious mind will translate into reality a thought driven by FEAR just as readily as it will translate into reality a thought driven by COURAGE, or FAITH.
